Bob Knight’s legacy

As ya’ll all should no by now Bob Knight resigned as Texas Tech’s head coach. He ended his career with 902 wins. He coached at Army, Indiana, and Texas Tech. He is always well known for screaming at the refs and the throwing the chair inciddent in Indiana. Everybody loved his Post game press conferences just not the people he was screaming at. He also was a good coach I mean if you have 902 wins and are the all time winningnest coach then you have to be good. He won all his national championships at Indiana. Even though he helped Texas Tech because back then the Texas Tech boys were no good at basketball. Bob Knight will not be forgotten they should name the court after him or something in Lubbock because the Hoosiers have a rule that a place cannot be named after someone until they die. Bob Knight will still be with Texas Tech kind of because his son is the new coach Pat Knight. He has already lost his first two games but hopefully will get his first the next game. Shaq to Suns(Planet Orange)

Wow Wow Wow!!!! Shaquille O’Neal got traded to the Suns for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks. I think that the Pau Gasol trade made this trade happened because it signaled that the Lakers are for real and the Lakers and Suns always meat in the playoffs and have a good 7 game series. I think that Dallas will get Jason Kidd becuase now they have to if they want to make it in the west. I think that the Spurs and Hornets might need to find a trade but they might be good enough to have a chance to make it to the finals without adding another star player. THe Suns got Shaquille O’Neal to signal that they want a championship now. The Heat got Banks and Marion to signal rebuilding process and try to make Dwayne Wade still happy time. I think that this trade will help the Suns in their quest for a championship and it will help the Heat in having a good young fast running team hopefully to start doing some damage in the East which is pretty easy. Cant wait till the Shaq attack is back it will be fun because now he feels like he is alive again and has something to play for.

Giants World Champions

The Giants beat the Patriots 17 to 14 and Eli Manning won MVP. This game was a boring game until the final minute that Giants drive was unbelievable and that catch made by David Tyree that was an historic drive that was great that it happened because the Patriots are cheaters. They said that they videotaped the Rams before there Super Bowl matchup and the Rams were highly favored that game. They had even invited the Giants to their Super Bowl presentation before the game that was stupid they hadn’t played the game and the Giant were on fire during the post-season. This is looking like it is going to be the fall of the Patriots we will have to wait and see in the next season I hope it is they deserve to be a horrible team. Watch out for next season the Giants might repeat.

Pau Gasol to Lakers

Pau Gasol got traded to the Lakers for Kwame Brown, Javaris Criteton and two draft picks. This trade proves that Andrew Bynum is going to be out longer for two months and that the Lakers are crying for help. If Jermaine O’neal wasn’t hurt then this trade wouldn’t have happened because the Lakers would have been trying to get O’neal from the Pacers. I think that this will help the Lakers on offense but they dont need help on offense they need help on defense and also once Andrew Bynum comes back he should be starting instead of Pau Gasol.

Skills Challenge People have been announced it is going to be Dwayne Wade, Jason Kidd, Chris Paul, and Deron Williams. The three-point shootout people are Kobe Bryant, Daniel Gibson, Richard Hamilton, Jason Kapono, Steve Nash, and Peja Stojacavic also Stromile Swift got traded from Memphis to New Jersey for Jason Collins. I will have another big NBA trade coming soon and also sorry I havent been able to type I had friends spend the night a couple of nights and watched the Super Bowl with them.

Who got left out? I think the East team was nicely picked the only person that should have made it was Ray Allen but Joe Johnson is having a great year too. Shaquille O’neal didn’t make the All-Star game stopping his streak at 14 years it is sad to see him get a bunch of injurys.

I like the 2 hornet players on here but take of David West and trade him for his teamate Tyson Chandler on the All-Star team. Carlos Boozer shouldn’t even be going it should be Josh Howard he is the most underated player in the league. I think that having Chris Paul and Brandon Roy on the All-Star team was great picks they are turning into Superstars.

The only things left is who is competing in the three point contest and skills challenge.

Super Bowl Prediction

Patriots 35

I am picking the upset. Did everybod see the game in Week 17 that game was only a meaningless game for the Giants wait till they play in the Super Bowl. Also history is pointing to the Giants whenever a team is undefeated they usually choke in the final game.

My MVP is Eli Manning I think he will go for 3 touchdowns 384 yards and no interceptions.

I see Peyton Manning possibly moving up to 1st after his career and Tom Brady moving up to 3rd or 4th by the end of his career. Names in bold are still playing football. This is the begining of Top 10 lists of the best foot ball players ever for that position.

There is goint to be another brother tamdem in the league but they will be on the same team. Carson Palmer little brother Jordan Palmer is going to be the backup to Carson Palmer in Cincinatti. But unlike the Manning tamdem this tamdem will probably never make the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl Media Day

Ah just another Media Day a Mexican Reporter proposing to Tom Brady. The normal Bill Belichick in a news conference. The players telling stories to the media. The media getting to ask any question they want to even about the players personal life. It was just another Media Day for the Pats.

The Giants however were wide eyed at home many reporters there were. They all had camcorders with them only two players had ever gone to the Super Bowl for the Giants and they were still savoring the moment. They were asking Eli if he like Peyton Mannings commercials he was all like at first they were iffy but now they are funny and that is weird to have a funny brothter.

The NFL has 11 podiums for media day and Wes Welker didn’t get one of them instead he was sitting in the stands talking to media. I was watching it on NFL Network on my laptop they were shocked that Wes Welker didn’t get a podium because he lead the NFL in receptions. But for the Giants they gave their Punter a podium only because he has been in the NFL for 20 years and this is his first Super Bowl so I kind of understand giving him a podium.

Possible History being made for the Pats it would be going 19-0. But for the Giants it would be beating an 18 and 0 team and having Peyton and Eli be the first brother tamdem to win back to back Super Bowls Peyton with the Colts and Eli with the Giants.

I will have Predictions eitheir tommorow or the day after that but I will have them.

Golden State signed Chris Webber today he was rumored to be going to the Pistons all season long so far but he had a change of hart and is getting reunited with Don Nelson. Boy will this be a fun. They haven’t really ever gotten along really well Chris Webber got traded in his rookie season from Golden State to Washington but this will help Golden State in the playoff chase.

Jason Kidd wants out from New Jersey his agent has been talking with the Nets about a trade for a while and it appears that he will probably be traded to the Mavericks before the trade deadline. For a package built around Desagna Diop.

The reserves will be announced this thursday for the All-Star game.

The East doesn’t really have any other Point Guards because Gilbert Arenas got hurt but if he was okay then you would have seen Gilbert Arenas starting at Point Guard and Jason Kidd coming of the bench but Jason Kidd will be starting and probably Chauncey Billups will come off the bench or Jamerio Moon this rookie is incredible.

The West should have had a different Shooting Forward and Point Guard. The Point Guard should have been Chris Paul with Steve Nash coming off the bench I don’t think Allen Iverson should have made the All-Star game he is not really good this year. At Shooting Forward I think that Carmelo Anthony shold be the reserve but I think that Josh Howard should have been starting he is really becoming a leader on the Dallas Mavericks he is even more of a leader than Dirk Nowitzki now. I think that Dirk and Josh should both make the All-Star game.
